German soprano Yvonne Lamik studied musicology and art history in Düsseldorf, Germany until she graduated with a thesis on Caspar David Friedrich’s iconography of Christ (Bachelor of Arts). Meanwhile she took private lessons at the Robert Schumann Hochschule with Prof. Michaela Krämer and served as exhibition curator at Museum Katharinenhof (The copperplate engraver Daniel Chodowiecki, 2011). While continuing her musicology studies at RSH Düsseldorf she started studying „Classical Singing“ at ArtEZ Conservatoriumin Arnhem, The Netherlands with Elena Vink, Lodewijk Meeuwsen and Marien van Nieukerken. As a musicologist Yvonne Lamik participated at an international congress in Kyïv (Urkraine) with a paper on „Opera in the media“. She took part in the conference Music and the Moving Image at New York University in 2012.


As a singer she participated in various master and lied classes with Prof. Arthur Janzen (Cologne), Prof. Olaf Bär (Dresden), Prof. Ulrike Sonntag (Stuttgart), Mihailo Arsenski (Munich), Ekaterina Vasheruk, Irene Maessen, Maurice Lammerts van Bueren, Thomas Olieman, and others. 2015 she graduated and is now Bachelor of Music
